Further information

Frimley Health and Care ICS apprentice scheme is a new and exciting opportunity for caring and compassionate individuals to work in Health & Social Care and assist people to maintain basic needs and achieve the highest levels of independence with daily living skills.

The ICS will support a programme of work, study and training designed to develop the skills and abilities of the apprentice whilst achieving a nationally accredited Adult Care Worker Level 2 qualification. The role will include rotating through social care, community and hospital settings.

Following initial corporate induction, the apprentices will gain the Care Certificate, and then commence the 15-month training period with selected health and social care organisations, including Frimley Healthcare and Berkshire Healthcare for NHS care, and Optalis for adult social care.

The successful candidate should have a caring and compassionate attitude, ideally with experience of working in health or social care settings, but this is not essential.

If you have a specific area to work in or a preference of host organisation health or social care then please can you indicate this as the first line in the additional information towards the end of the application.

Please note: Optalis is advertising this role, however, Optalis may not be your employer and data will be shared across the ICS and your data will still be held by Optalis.

Interviews will be held on the 28th February 9-2pm, so please make yourself available.
